For several months we debated the idea of whether or not to have advertising on the website.  From the onset we knew that if we decided to place advertising on the website, it must be advertising that furthers the Gospel; no exceptions.  Currently, we're trying out an advertising company that matches words on the website to relevant advertisements.  We're going to be testing this in the next couple of day/weeks.  This morning when I logged onto the website, there was an advertisement for scientology and I was quite shocked.  I quickly added it to the banned list.  The matching of relevant words is not completely accurate, so it is going to need some monitoring for a couple of weeks and then consequent adjustments.  Please inform us if you notice any advertisements that are contrary to Scripture.  Godbless!

Update: This has proved to be a greater endeavor to monitor than we had imagined.  There have been a number of advertisements that are diametrically opposed to the Gospel.  Some of which have included scientology and muslim advertising.  We quickly put them on the banned list; however, we ask for your prayers for discernment for us, so that we may properly evaluate self-described Christian content.  Our intent is to only include advertisements that are glorifying to God and edifying to the church.  With that in mind, it means that we will reject any so called Christian advertising that is contrary to our Father's Word or unprofitable.
